When i paint i need something slow and very melodic that i can sing loud and that i could DANCE with some stupid coreography when i'd like to take a break from working (remember, i'm alone when i paint) the best is the WEST SIDE STORY soundtrack , some old ELVIS stuff , italian 50/60's music or even some Blondie's songs. But outside my work i love powerfoul music like Lunachicks, Turbonegro, the Bobbyteens, Supersuckers, Madball, L7 aaand Motorama (a garage band from italy) but also someting more experimental as the first albums from Sonic Youth , Yo la tengo, Sukia , Violetta Beauregarde and Peaches. |

When i was a teenager i loved Jean Michel Basquiat's work and comic-artists like Charles Burns , Robert Crumb or Julie Doucet, after came the love for Frida Kahlo and the fascination for all the pop-surrealism scene.
